Duncan & Toplis Employee Survey

Background

Duncan & Toplis invited BluSky Marketing to tender for its 1st Online Employee Survey, which would be distributed to 320 staff across 11 offices in the East Midlands.

The Brief

BluSky Marketing where to manage & implement an online survey on behalf of Duncan & Toplis, secure stakeholder approval during the process, reassure the staff at Duncan & Toplis that the results of the survey would remain confidential and present the findings to the partners, prior to being rolled out to the staff by the Duncan & Toplis HR Team.

BluSky Marketing also provided the HR Team with online access to the results of the survey, providing real time responses and the ability for the HR Team to interrogate the results further and at their convenience, while still protecting the staffs individual responses.

Objectives

  • Identify the issues that are most critical to the performance of Duncan & Toplis Employees.
  • Provide Duncan & Toplis Employees with an opportunity to express perceived areas of improvements required within the practice to make D&T an even better place to work.
  • Develop key actions to improve performance in those business critical areas for 2008.
  • Monitor (and establish) ratings for future (tbc) survey comparison.

The Results

BluSky Marketing secured a response rate of 87.2% (or 266 respondees) and with it quantifiable insight into Duncan & Toplis from a staffs perspective which will assist in making the practice an event better place to work.
